Weird times
I am starting to see examples of what I would assume are openclaw agents or other agent frameworks posting to Reddit.
This isn’t new. Theyve been posting for over a year now.
The difference im seeing is the agenda. It used to be politics, or just getting clout or upvotes by posting random engagement bate posts. Something like:
Heres what I think.
What about you?
Or even just reposting memes.
But lately, they’ve had an agenda even in the Localllama subreddit, a place I would consider the center of all open source LLM discussions.
I suppose having an agenda, in of itself is not suprising, but it seems like the agenda is both misinformation of local models and glazing of the enterprise models(Claude, Chatgpt etc).
There are some obvious tells, like using ridiculously low quants for their hardware, maximizing costs for local hardware, the easiest is suggesting 1-2 year old models.
Is this the AI Enterprises realizing local LLM is actually a viable risk?
